When we say hydrotherapy the first thing that comes to mind is the treatment done with minerals that natural source water holds. In hydrotherapy not only natural waters but normal waters are also used. Hydrotherapy or pool treatment contains exercise programs to be applied in water. It is useful in many medical situations treatment.

Water, is necessary for all lifestyles and it is an indispensable tasteless and odorless substance. All physical situations for liveliness occur with the features of water. For this reason, biologists gave water the name “fluid of life”. Two thirds of our body and two out of five of the world is water. Our body’s temperature balance, intracellular life continuation, burning of foods, and digestion is connected to water. Not receiving enough water can cause serious health problems. When not consuming enough water the level of our body fat will increase, When the kidney do not receive enough water the livers function will slow down. The liver that needs to turn the body fat depot into energy will delay its function and the burning of fat will slow down.
Water also effects to clean the toxins in our body. When you drink cold it will mix with the blood quicker. An adult loses close to 10 glasses of water a day. For this reason, it needs to be replaced with new water. As much as we think that other drinks meet our water needs, coffee, teas or cola drinks are actually diuretic and are the reason for the lose of water in our body.
The waters physical features in pool treatment, helps exercise performance and helps to heal. An advantage of pool therapy is a lifting force provided by the water. With the decrease of the load on the joints, the exercises done in the pool are easier and painless. It is useful especially in arthritis and healing after fractures. The fluidity of water will create an excellent resistance source in pool therapy. By using this resistance source without using weight in the pool it will strengthen the muscles. Hydro massage:
It is one of the most important hydrotherapy techniques. Water spraying and water jet, massages the body. At the same time, it provides stimulation of the nerve ends on the skin surface and the removal of pain and causes regular blood circulation and relief. It is not recommended for people diagnosed with high tension and heart disease.
Steam Bath:
A steam bath is a reason for your whole body to sweat. The steam as a whole has a calming effect on the body. It relieves pain and through sweat it eliminates the toxins. Helps soften tissues and helps skin renewal.
Bath:
Different body baths are hydrotherapies indispensable methods. Not to forget aromatic baths, herbal baths, rubbing with coarse bath gloves and traditional methods relaxing and therapeutic effects.
Shower:
is done by spraying hot or cold water on to the body to relieve pain and to help relax. The cells become alive and renewed.
Compress:
With the aim of removing the toxins, a damp cloth is used to wrap the whole body or just one part.
Enema:
It is the process of cleaning accumulated waste with the flow of clean water, with a close to half an hour duration through the rectum by cleaning the large intestines.

Including environmental pollution, in a result of an unhealthy lifestyle, detox meaning purifying the accumulated toxins from the body, is a lifestyle needed for a healthy life. If you are eating plenty of fruit and vegetables daily, drinking plenty of water, and staying away from coffee and cigarettes, have a life away from extreme stress, and you are exercising properly then your body is automatically detoxing anyway. However, it is necessary especially for people who live in big cities and have an intense work pace to detox at least twice a year.
The poisonous chemicals that damage our body as in toxins; are the enemies of our cells, therefore tissues and organs. Some of the detoxification methods are; purifying the body with special diets, at certain times fruit juice and herbal regimes, conscious use of some vitamins and amino acids that purify and clean the body from toxins, herbal teas, heat, cold and hot water baths and sport.
• Things that need to be done firstly
• Benefit from steam baths, saunas and massages for a skin detox.
• Do not use medication unless absolutely necessary
• Drink at least 2-2.5 liters of water through out the day.
• Exercise with a tempo at least 20 minutes a day.
• During the detox, drink 2 cups of fennel or dandelion tea daily.
• When going to bed and 30 minutes before breakfast add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in one-cup warm water and sip slowly.
• Try to provide the animal protein you need with fish or animals raised in nature (white meat animals as possible)
• Take rotating hot and cold showers regularly.
• Quit smoking and alcohol. Reduce coffee as much as possible.
